On September 4th, RIDC NeuroMat will host the Seminar Open Science and Scientific Dissemination - Challenges and Opportunities. This will be a space dedicated to exploring the intersections between innovative research and best practices in education and scientific communication.
During this seminar, we will address the current impasse between open science and scientific dissemination, discussing crucial questions such as:
- What are the challenges and opportunities facing open science in the Global Majority World?
- How can scientific dissemination be better integrated with scientific production?
- What are the best practices for harmonizing open science and scientific dissemination?
- How can we overcome existing barriers and more effectively integrate open science practices with the broader goals of scientific communication and dissemination?
Join us for an enriching discussion that aims not only to identify barriers but also foster solutions that promote a more inclusive and collaborative scientific culture. Your participation is essential to shaping the future of open science and its dissemination!
The program will feature keynote lectures, roundtable panels, short presentations, poster session, and a video screening.
If you want to present your work during the poster session, send an abstract (up to one PDF page) to educacao@wmnobrasil.org until July 31st. The presentation must be related to themes such as Open Science and Scientific Dissemination; Open Educational Resources in Scientific Dissemination; Use of Free Platforms in Research and Teaching Projects; Free Digital University Extension Initiatives, among other related topics.
