This week, "Agência FAPESP" website featured an article about the work developed by neuroscientist Natalia Mota, for her postdoctoral project. The work was also supervised by researchers Sidarta Ribeiro (UFRN) and Mauro Copelli (Federal University of Pernambuco). Both are co-authors of the article and are part of the RIDC NeuroMat.
The article says: "the researcher analyzed dream reports from a group of volunteers in order to investigate how they were being affected by the pandemic and social isolation. The results of the study - released on the medRxiv platform, still in a preprint version (without peer review) - suggest that the greater the degree of suffering of the individual in the first month of quarantine, the more common were the mentions of terms associated with the idea of “cleanliness” in the dream reports."
