The Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center for Neuromathematics (NeuroMat) will hold the workshop “Random Structures in the Brain” in São Paulo, from October 16 to 20, 2017. NeuroMat is hosted by the University of São Paulo and funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). The event's official website is: neuromat.numec.prp.usp.br/rsbrain.
The workshop is organized as a setting for a general discussion on NeuroMat's achievements and prospective activities and as an opportunity for sparking new directions for the RIDC working groups in research, technology transfer and scientific dissemination.
The workshop will not receive external submissions, yet some external attendees may be accepted. If you are interested in attending, please send an email to neuromat@numec.prp.usp.br. Your request will be replied to on a timely manner.
The general discussion on NeuroMat's achievements and prospective activities will encompass a general assembly and short presentations. A main goal is to provide a sense of scientific challenges the NeuroMat team faces ahead. This general discussion is also meant as a space for assessing the RIDC organization and impact. The discussion will be mainly based on our report of activities 2015-2017
Working groups will be organized around priority trends for NeuroMat's project. Neuromat team members will be able to choose among a set of simultaneous working groups, that will be mostly informal and self-organized.
The workshop will take place at the Multipurpose Auditorium at NeuroMat, Av. Prof. Luciano Gualberto, 1171, at the University of São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil.
This NeuroMat event was supported by FAPESP.
