NeuroMat training: Prof. Christophe Pouzat on spike sorting

Prof. Christophe Pouzat, a CNRS researcher of the Applied Maths Laboratory of the Paris-Descartes University and a specialist in spike sorting, will offer the three-day-long training "Spike sorting: What is it? Why do we need it? Where does it come from? How is it done? How to interpret it?," at the University of São Paulo, from November 25 to 27. The Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center for Neuromathematics (CEPID NeuroMat) organizes this event with the support of the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).

NeuroMat offers training on spike sorting

The cooperation between neuroscience and mathematics has much to offer to the collection of neural data. The Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center for Neuromathematics (CEPID NeuroMat), from the University of São Paulo, offers a training on the mathematical challenges of this area, specifically on advances developed on techniques of spike sorting. Report by Revista Mente e Cérebro, 11/2014.
