The roundtable "New Forms of Scientific Journalism and the CEPID NeuroMat Work" will discuss renewed means of disseminating science and science-oriented journalism produced in Brazil, on the 25th of September, from 6:30 PM to 10 PM, at the Cásper Líbero School of Journalism, in São Paulo. This event is organized by NeuroMat's Coordination of Scientific Dissemination –NeuroMat is a research center created in 2013 at USP and funded by FAPESP, aiming to integrate mathematical modelling and neuroscience.

The 18th EEGLAB Workshop will take place from Sunday, September 7th through Wednesday, September 10th, 2014, at the Neurology Institute Deolindo Couto of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Participants will be expected to bring laptops with Matlab installed so as to be able to participate in the practical sessions. The workshop will introduce and demonstrate the use of EEGLAB and EEGLAB plug-in tools for performing analysis of EEG and related data, with detailed method expositions and practical exercises. This event relates to the general goals of NeuroMat.

The Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center for Neuromathematics (NeuroMat) hosted its First Workshop, in São Paulo, from January 20 to January 25, 2014. NeuroMat is hosted by the University of São Paulo and funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).
