A news piece on uses of the online, collaborative encyclopaedia in educational settings refers to NeuroMat's pioneering Wikipedia Initiative. The general goal of the Initiative is to stimulate members of the research team to work on entries on neuromathematics and pertaining topics in the Portuguese and English versions of Wikipedia. The Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center for Neuromathematics (NeuroMat) is now on Facebook and on Youtube. On Facebook, NeuroMat will release research updates, event information and other pertaining news related to neuromathematics. The NeuroMat Facebook page will also strengthen bonds among people interested in the development of a theory of the brain.
